The factional Board of Trustees, BoT of the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike in the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has unveiled an internal restructuring plan to reorganise troubled state chapters and prepare the grounds for fresh congresses and a national convention.
Chairman of the factional BoT, Mao Ohuabunwa, said this at the opening session of the board’s meeting which held at the residence of the FCT Minister, on Sunday, saying that the group was committed to rebuilding the PDP from within and restoring public confidence in its internal processes.
Meanwhile the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has said he and other founding members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) will not allow those who came from other parties to join the PDP to kill the party.
Wike called on party faithful to support lawful leadership and unite to rebuild the PDP in line with democratic principles and judicial integrity.
