Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has said that he hopes his side does not face Barcelona in the UEFA Champions League.
Guardiola was part of a Barcelona side that won La Liga as a player and also won the club’s first Champions League title in 1992.
He says his wish is that he never crosses paths with Barcelona, saying that his love and affection for Barça destroys him.
Recall Guardiola had a memorable spell at Barcelona after replacing Frank Rijkaard in 2008.
