Regional officials in Ukraine say that Russia has resumed air attacks, shortly after the end of a brief Easter Ceasefire.
Recall that Russian President Vladimir Putin, declared a 30-hour ceasefire due to the Easter Celebrations, saying it was motivated by “humanitarian reasons”.
However, the two sides, Moscow and Kyiv have accused each other of breaking the brief Easter truce.
Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky accused Moscow of carrying out hundreds of front-line raids although admitting that there were no air strikes from Russia, while Russia’s defence ministry in turn accused Ukraine of launching hundreds of drones and shells, causing civilian casualties.
Nonetheless, Ukrainian officials say renewed strikes from Russia started just hours after the truce ended at midnight on Sunday.
