Udenta Calls for Political Partnership to End Nigeria’s

The Founding Former National Secretary of the Alliance for Democracy, Udenta Udenta, has said the policies of the Nigerian government have not done much to improve poverty and the welfare of Nigerians.

Udenta said this to newsmen this Wednesday, saying beyond making policies, the current government needs to lobby stakeholders across all political classes to work towards the progress of the country.

He says the address of President Bola Tinubu during the End Bad Governance protest was dissatisfactory, because he did not address the issues raised by the protesters, and did not make any proclamations to make things better.

Udenta also called on the government to uphold the tenets of democracy, saying the arrest and detention of protesters and journalists by the government is a sign that the tenets of democracy are declining in Nigeria.
