The President of the United States of America, USA, Donald Trump, has announced a complete three-month pause on all the “reciprocal” tariffs but with the exception of China.
Trump says because of the lack of respect China has shown to the World’s Markets, the tariffs will not only remain on China, but will be increased to 125% from 104%.
This is coming after China announced additional retaliatory tariffs against the United States earlier on Wednesday.
All other countries that were subjected to reciprocal tariff rates Wednesday will now see rates go back down to the universal 10% rate.
