A support group for President Bola Tinubu, called the PBAT Door To Door Movement, has said its Grand Patron, Government Ekpemupolo, popularly known as Tompolo, is not part of the call for the release of the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu.
The group said this on Sunday as they dissociated Tompolo from a purported 21-day ultimatum issued to the Federal Government to release Kanu.
The National Coordinator of the group, Sunday Asuku said the claim is entirely baseless and the handiwork of desperate propagandists who want to instigate the FG against Tompolo.
Recall that there have been recent calls in different quarters for the release of Kanu who is expected to open his defence this Monday in the terrorism charges filed against him at the Federal High Court in Abuja.
