The President, Bola Tinubu, has said that his administration has been able to generate funds to reduce the debt servicing burden of the nation from 97 percent to 65 percent in the last 17 months.
Tinubu said this on Monday while swearing in the seven new ministers recently appointed into his cabinet.
He says he is committed to ending smuggling and undue profiteering of fuel in the country, saying he is optimistic that the country is on a steady growth path with the intervention of his administration.
Tinubu also congratulated the new ministers for accepting to serve the country at this challenging time, saying they should be ready for criticisms from Nigerians but should not lose focus on making lives better for them.
