Tinubu Approves Restructuring Of His Media Team

President Bola Tinubu, has approved the restructuring of the media and communications team at the State House, thereby re-designating the roles of two of his Special Advisers.

The Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, said this to newsmen, saying the restructuring is in a bid to strengthen the government’s communication machinery.

Onanuga says the restructuring indicates that three Special Advisers in the media team, including the office of Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, would work collaboratively as there is no single individual spokesperson for the Presidency.

He says that the restructuring means that Sunday Dare who was previously the Special Adviser on Public Communication and National Orientation is now Special Adviser on Media and Public Communications; and Daniel Bwala who was announced as the Special Adviser on Media and Public Communication, is now special adviser on Policy Communication.

Onanuga says the changes would enhance efficiency and streamline the flow of information, saying it is part of a broader strategy to improve the management of media relations within the government.
