Three persons have been abducted near the Innoson Motorcycle Showroom along Onitsha-Owerri Road in the Nnewi North Local Government Area of Anambra State.
Eyewitnesses say the incident occurred late on Tuesday, when the victims, who were driving along the road, were blocked by the vehicle belonging to the kidnappers who then forced them into their vehicle and drove off.
The Anambra State Police Spokesman, Tochukwu Ikenga, confirmed the incident to newsmen this Wednesday, saying the police are already working on reducing the victims with information obtained from the scene.
Ikenga says the Anambra Joint Security Forces are on the offensive and are working to rescue the three abducted victims unhurt and arrest the abductors
