A member of the Board of Trustees of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Bode George, has said that former Jigawa State Governor Sule Lamido has the right to contest for the chairmanship of the party.
George stated this on Tuesday during an interview, following Lamido’s threat to take legal action against PDP for allegedly denying him the opportunity to purchase the nomination form to contest for the position of National Chairman.
He also said that the fact that PDP leaders converged and supported an individual for consensus candidate does not mean that others cannot compete.
