The Rivers State government has pledged to engage with relevant institutions to address the ongoing political crisis following the declaration of a state of emergency by President Bola Tinubu.
The Commissioner for Information and Communications, Warisenibo Johnson, said this on behalf of the state government.
Warisenibo reassured the citizens of the government’s commitment to upholding constitutional order and maintaining peace in that state.
He emphasized that Governor Siminalayi Fubara has consistently acted within the framework of his constitutional oath and has prioritized the safety and well-being of Rivers residents.
