South Korea’s president, Yoon Suk Yeol, has defended his decision to impose martial law as he also vowed to “fight until the end”
Recall, that there have been attempts to remove him from office over his short-lived imposition of martial law, which plunged the country into chaos.
However, Yoon gave a lengthy TV address this Thursday describing the martial law as a legitimate “act of governance” and denied attempting to foment insurrection.
His address is coming 2 days before the national assembly is expected to vote a second time on Yoon’s impeachment
