South Korea imposes Foreign Trip Ban On More Top Officials

South Korean authorities have banned more top officials from leaving the country as a result of President Yoon Suk Yeol’s attempt to impose martial law.

South Korean newsmen said this this Tuesday, saying Yoon’s party is forging a resignation roadmap that reportedly could see him step down in February or March before fresh elections.

Yoon suspended civilian rule last week and sent special forces and helicopters to parliament, before lawmakers forced him to reverse the decree in the country.

The former defence and interior ministers, martial law commander, Park An-su, and defence counterintelligence, Yeo In-hyung, have already been confined to South Korean territory.
