Soludo Vows to End 21-Year Power Outage in COOU

The Governor of Anambra State, Chukwuma Soludo, has promised to end the 21-year power outage at the Uli Campus of the Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University, in Ihiala Local Government Area of the state.

 

Soludo made the promise when he visited the campus on Wednesday, also saying Uli as a community will equally benefit from the intervention when completed.

 

Soludo also promised to provide access to the internet and WiFi in public places within the campus, as he expressed optimism that it will further deepen their access to the digital world.

 

Furthermore he pledged to begin the gradual construction of the internal roads in the campus while also calling on the community to make efforts to protect the institution.

 

In response to his promises, The Acting Vice Chancellor of the institution, Kate Omenugha, and the Commissioner for Education, Ngozi Chuma-deh, thanked the governor and assured him of their unalloyed support.
