Senate Spokesperson Says Senate Is For Serious Business, Not Entertainment

The Senate spokesperson, Yemi Adaramodu, has criticised Kogi Central Senator, Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, over a dispute concerning her seating arrangement in the chamber.

Adaramodu said this to newsmen this Friday, saying the National Assembly is for serious business and not a platform for content creation in entertainment.

He addressed the issue of Akpoti-Uduaghan being sidelined, saying she had already been appointed chairperson of three committees, including Foreign Affairs and Non-Governmental Organisations.

Adaramodu says her Kogi colleague, Isah Jubril, had apologised on her behalf, saying the Senate as a whole has already accepted it.
