A second child has died from measles following an outbreak of the virus in western Texas, United States, US.
The vice-president of UMC Health System, Aaron Davis, told this to newsmen on Sunday, saying the child was not vaccinated and had no underlying health conditions.
Meanwhile, US Health Secretary Robert F Kennedy Jr, who has been criticized over his handling of the outbreak, visited Texas on Sunday in the wake of the death, which is the third overall in recent weeks.
Texas has now reported more than 480 cases of measles so far this year and the outbreak has begun to extend to neighboring states.
