A major electricity outage has hit the Caribbean island of Puerto Rico, a territory of the United States.
Utility companies say all power plants in Puerto Rico were knocked offline on Wednesday, which they say is the latest huge outage to hit the Caribbean island.
However, one of the energy companies in the country, Luma Energy, which distributes electricity, has said it is working to identify the cause of the problem and “safely restore service.”
