Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) has won their first Champions League match of the season after defeating Girona 1-0 at the France’s stadium, Park of Princes.
Their win was made possible through a mistake by Girona’s goalkeeper, Paulo Gazzaniga, who allowed the ball played by PSG player, Nuno Mendes, slip through his hands in the last minute.
Reports say this was a disappointing end for Girona, who were making their Champions League debut after finishing third in La Liga last season.
