The Police in Anambra State have arrested four suspects for cyberstalking, attempted kidnapping, and other crimes.
The Anambra Police spokesman, Tochukwu Ikenga, told newsmen this Friday that the suspects were arrested in the Ihiala Local Government Area of the state, following investigation by the joint security force.
Ikenga gave the names of the suspects as Chimezie Ezebuo, Chinaza Ndimani, Chinecherem Okafor, and Nzube Azubuike, who are all males from Okohia in Ihiala.
Ikenga says the task force acted based on information they gathered over time concerning cases of cyberstalking, threats of kidnapping, and violence, across Anambra, particularly in Ihiala, leading to the arrests.
