The Port Harcourt Refining Company has clarified that its operations were not completely stopped but scaled down to speed up improvements at the facility.
The Executive Director of Operations of Nigerian Pipeline and Storage Company Limited, Moyi Maidunama, said this to newsmen on Sunday during a tour of the refinery.
Maidunama says there was a temporary setback in operations, saying that the reduction was necessary to address technical issues and enhance capacity.
He says they are managing the process with the number of trucks available using a few loading arms for evacuation, saying the issue will be resolved soon.
