PDP Attributes Adeleke’s Defection to Unresolved Internal Circumstances
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has described the defection of Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, as that of a victim of circumstance.

The party’s factional National Publicity Secretary, Ini Ememobong, made the remark on Thursday during a television interview on Channels.

He said that Governor Adeleke’s defection was a result of circumstances beyond his control, which he considered vicarious.

He said the PDP leadership ought to have acted since 2023 when the internal decline began, but instead entered into negotiations.

He concluded that Adeleke’s situation was the result of many accumulated issues within the party, and that the governor could not completely free himself from those “vicarious liabilities.”
