About 10,517 persons have been deployed for the local government and ward elections scheduled to be held in Cross River State on Saturday, November 2, 2024.
The Chairman of the Cross River State Independent Electoral Commission (CROSIEC), Ekong Boco, announced this at their office in Calabar.
He says 9,843 ad hoc staff members have been trained, with three of these staff members assigned to each of the 3,281 INEC-recognized polling units across the 18 LGAs of the state.
In addition, 460 supervisors, 18 returning officers, and 196 collation officers were trained and will be involved in the elections.
