The Senior Special Assistant on Foreign Affairs to President Bola Tinubu, Ademola Oshodi, has said that the president’s extensive foreign engagements have earned Nigeria international recognition and strengthened global partnerships which will benefit ordinary Nigerians.
Oshodi said this Monday, that the trips had positioned Nigeria favourably among international partners and multilateral institutions.
He made these remarks in response to an analysis which revealed that President Tinubu has logged 245 days abroad, visiting 28 countries on 47 unique and recurrent trips.
He also responded to criticism of the administration’s 9million dollars lobbying contract with US-based DCI Group, saying that the government needed to do more to project its narrative abroad.
Oshodi further urged Nigerians to exercise patience, as he compared the current pain to reform experiences in other countries.
