Former Super Falcons striker, Desire Oparanozie, has urged the Super Falcons to win the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) title for the 10th time on Friday.
Recall that the falcons made it to the finals after defeating South Africa on Tuesday.
Oparanozie expressed confidence in the team’s ability saying she is certain they can win WAFCON title again because Nigeria has talented players with winning experience.
She also commended the growing competitiveness of African women’s football saying this edition of the WAFCON competition has been thrilling and is testament to how much women’s football in Africa has grown.
The Super Falcons are currently in Morocco for the finals of the game which is scheduled to take place on Friday, 25th July, 2025.
