The Ondo State Chapter of the National Association of Nigerian Students Joint Campus Council has confirmed the death of two polytechnic students who had a fatal road accident along the Akure-Ondo Expressway.
The association’s chairman, Oluwarotimi Joshua, General Secretary, Oluwanishola Ajibola and Public Relations Officer, Kehinde Blessing, signed the statement confirming their death this Thursday.
The victims, Chukwu Athanasius and Oladokun Oyindamola, were students of the Federal Polytechnic, Ile-Oluji, Ondo State, who were reportedly on a motorcycle, before they were crushed by a speeding vehicle.
The association expressed sadness at their deaths and condoled with the families of the victims as well as the entire Ondo student community.
