The youth wing of the apex Igbo socio-cultural
organisation, Ohanaeze Ndigbo youth council worldwide has described the decision by the joint admissions and matriculation board, JAMB, to fix a fresh examination for those affected by what it calls errors in the recently released results as unacceptable.
The national president of Ohanaeze Ndigbo youth council worldwide, Okwu Nnabuike said this to newsmen this Thursday, says that the arrangement is totally unacceptable.
Nnabuike says that it is a disservice for jamb to subject the candidates to another round of mental torture, stress and risk on no fault of theirs.
He says that, JAMB should allocate a score of 300 to
all the south-east candidates affected by its own error
.
It will be recalled that jamb registrar, ishaq oloyede, had on wednesday admitted that errors led to the low score of candidates in the five South-East states and Lagos state.
