Operatives of the Ogun State Police Command have arrested a 25-year-old suspected leader of the Alora cult, Abiodun John.
The command’s spokesman, Omolola Odutola said this to newsmen this Friday, saying John was arrested on Thursday following information by some members of the public that indicated suspicion against him and other partners in a car.
Odutola says the police pursued the car and stopped it, saying that during the search of the vehicle, two locally-made pistols and three live cartridges were discovered in John’s possession.
She says a preliminary investigation has begun, saying that the suspect has been taken to the station along with the seized items.
