Obi Condemns Kwara Killings, Says Nigeria's Insecurity Worse than Conflict-Ridden Countries
Former Anambra state governor and former presidential candidate, Peter Obi, has condemned the recent wave of killings in Kwara State.

Obi made a post on X this Thursday, expressing sadness at the tragic incident where gunmen attacked communities and allegedly killed about 150 people.

Obi described the incident as a reflection of the nation’s worsening security crisis as he extended his condolences to the bereaved families, as well as the government and residents of the state.

Obi says the persistent violence across different parts of the country highlights the urgent need for decisive action against insecurity, warning that Nigeria’s situation has deteriorated beyond levels seen in some conflict-ridden countries.
