Former Anambra State Governor and Labour Party Presidential Candidate, Peter Obi has urged the Anambra Governorship Election Candidates to shun vote-buying so that the elections can be free, fair, and credible.
Obi said he remains a member of the Labour Party and is supporting his party’s candidate but he also emphasised that all the governorship candidates are his friends.
He urged them to place the state’s interest above personal ambition as they head into the election.
Obi made these remarks while addressing journalists on Wednesday in Agulu, Anaocha Local Government Area of the state.
