The National Security Adviser (NSA) Nuhu Ribadu has promised to end the killings in Plateau state, as he expressed the Federal Government’s determination in finding a lasting solution to the attacks in that state.
Ribadu said this at the headquarters of Operation Safe Haven in Jos during an operational visit following the attacks in some communities of the Bokkos Local Government Area LGA) of the state.
Recall that over fifty persons were killed within a week in attacks over five communities that left over three hundred houses burnt by suspected herdsmen.
Similarly, the Arewa Consultative Forum (ACF) has expressed sadness over the recent attacks and they have called on the Federal Government to declare a state of security emergency on vulnerable and banditry-prone communities.
