Former Nigerian international player, Sunday Oliseh, has advocated for the improved salaries and better treatment for players in the Nigeria professional football league, to reduce the drain of talent abroad
Oliseh said compensation for local talent is essential for the developing of Nigerian football league, stating that poor pay and treatment of players remain a persistent issue in the football federation
The player added that if the Nigerian football league wants players to remain in the team, they have to ensure the league is conducive by paying them well, because players needs to feed their families. And lack of good pay is making them go out and play for other nations
