The Nigerian Governors’ Forum, NGF, has set up a subcommittee to work with the heads of security agencies for a collaborative approach in solving the security of the country.
The Forum, led by the Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, said this in a communiqué read by the Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodimma, after their meeting this Thursday, in Abuja.
They emphasized the need for increased recruitment into security agencies and the adoption of technology-driven solutions to tackle killings at the state level.
Recall that hundreds of citizens have been killed, and many others displaced, following recent attacks in Plateau, Benue and Borno states.
