The Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA), has urged residents of Kaduna State not to panic, when its Inter Battalion Obstacles Crossing Competition for NDA cadets takes place on Saturday, 22nd March, 2025.
The Academy’s Public Relations Officer, Muhammad Maidawa, said this to newsmen this Friday, saying the specific areas concerned are Afaka, Mando, and Kauya.
Maidawa says there will be live firing exercises involving heavy guns and other light weapons, saying residents may hear gunshot sounds during the event.
He says there is no cause for alarm as these activities are a standard part of cadet training, saying the residents should cooperate with the NDA.
