Plateau State Governor, Caleb Mutfwang, has announced a restriction on night grazing and transportation of cattle by vehicle in that state after 7 p.m.
Mutfwang, who made the declaration in a state broadcast this Wednesday, also announced the restriction on the use of motorcycles from 7 pm to 6am across the state until further notice.
He condemned the latest attacks in Kwall District in Bassa Local Government Area which killed at least 51 people, as well as other attacks, vowing that the killers and their sponsors will not go unpunished.
Mutfwang says troops and security personnel have been deployed and reinforced in vulnerable communities to ensure that the violent attacks don’t happen again.
