Motorcyclists Attack VIO officials Over Okada Ban Enforcement
The Police Command in the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, has dispersed violent motorcyclists who attacked some Vehicle Inspection Officers, VIOs, over the seizure of some motorcycles belonging to some ‘Okada-ban’ violators.
Reports say, the aggrieved motorcyclists, took to the streets in their numbers, at about 7 pm, on Tuesday, attacking pedestrians and motorists and vandalising vehicles.
They reportedly headed down to the Durumi Divisional Police Headquarters to obstruct the VIO from taking the seized motorcycles handed over to them by the police for screening.
