The detained 76 EndBadGovernance protesters have been arraigned before Justice Obiora Egwuatu of the Federal High Court in Abuja.
During the arraignment this Friday morning, one of the defendants, who is 15 years old, slumped as the charge was about to be read to them and was rushed to the court’s clinic.
One of the counsel representing the defendants, Deji Adeyanju told Newsmen that the minors have spent over 80 days in police custody and are frail and malnourished.
The protesters, who are majorly minors, were arrested and detained during the nationwide August 1 to 10 protests and are facing 10-count charges, including treason.
