Real Madrid player, Kylian Mbappe will not be playing with his team in the final Club World Cup group game against Red Bull Salzburg, scheduled to be held later this Thursday.
Reports say he was not mentioned among the 23 players listed by Real Madrid coach Xabi Alonso who said this is to prioritize his recovery from illness.
Recall that Mbappe missed Real Madrid’s first two matches at the tournament in the United States due to acute gastroenteritis.
Although he returned to training on Wednesday, he will also miss the match in which the two teams will aim to get a spot in the last 16.
