Former Chelsea coach, Enzo Maresca, has reportedly reached a verbal agreement with Manchester City to become the club’s next manager.
Italian Sports writer, Fabrizio Romano made this known on X this Tuesday, saying Maresca is expected to sign an initial three-year contract with the club.
Reports also stated that Maresca is highly regarded within City’s football structure because of his tactical philosophy and familiarity with the club’s playing style.
The move could mark one of the biggest managerial changes in English football, as Manchester City prepare for a possible transition from the era of Pep Guardiola.
