Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca says reports describing him as a potential successor to Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola, are only speculations.
Maresca said this to newsmen this Friday during the pre-match conference ahead of Saturday’s English premier league, matchday 17 fixture against Newcastle.
Recall that there have been multiple reports saying that Maresca, who was an assistant to Guardiola at Manchester City, could take up his mentor’e job if he steps down from the role at the end of this season.
Maresca however says his focus is only on Chelsea where he has a contract until 2029.
