Manchester City defeated Fulham, 3-0, on Wednesday night, cutting the gap between City and Arsenal at the top of the Premier League table to three points.
The 3 goals which were scored by half-time, were from Antoine Semenyo, Nico O’Reilly, and Erling Haaland as they secured a 20th consecutive win over Fulham in all competitions.
This win has reduced Arsenal’s advantage from nine points to three in four days to give City hope of winning the league title.
Nonetheless, Arsenal is expected to stretch their lead back to six points when they play against Brentford this Thursday.
