The Lagos state chapter of the Labour Party(LP) has fixed Friday, July 12th for its local government chairmanship primaries in that state.
The LP state chairman, Dayo Ekong, said this to newsmen this Thursday in Lagos.
Ekong says that the chairmanship primaries will hold at the various council areas this Thursday, while the LCDA chairmanship primaries will hold on Friday in all the local government areas.
She says that the party will adopt the delegate-based mode to pick its candidates, saying that they are committed to free, fair and transparent primary elections.
