The chairman of the Lagos state chapter of the Pentecostal fellowship of Nigeria, PFN, Yemi Davids, has said that the state of governance in Nigeria is at an all-time low due to the poor communication between the government and the people.
Davids said this to newsmen this Wednesday morning; saying that the government can better reach people via the church and has encouraged churches to be a part of measures to help bridge the communication gap between the government and the people concerning government policies.
He also says that allegations that pastors who preach prosperity are a part of the problems of the country are not exactly true as instead the churches try to give hope and encouragement to people despite the situation of things in the country and also encourage people through community outreaches.
He now calls on the government to maximise the use of churches in educating the people on political matters and has also called on church leaders to help prepare members of their congregation to ensure they are efficient and honest when they get into leadership positions.
