Kwara Urge Public Workers to Register with KWSRRA or Risk November Salary

Kwara State Government has urged public sector workers to register with the Kwara State Residents’ Registration Agency without delay.

The state’s Commissioner for Finance, Hauwa Nuru, said this this Monday in Ilorin, warning that workers who fail to obtain a valid resident registration number will not receive their November salary or bonuses.

Nuru says the Kwara State Residents’ Registration Agency is legally mandated to gather data on all residents of the state and assign unique identities to each person to improve planning, resource management, service delivery, public safety, and more.

She also said the registration, which began in July, is an essential step towards creating a comprehensive and accurate database that allows Kwara to serve its residents more effectively.

She urged all state employees who have not yet registered to visit the nearest KWSRRA centre to complete their enrolment promptly.
