The Kogi State Government has expressed satisfaction with the remodelling of LGEA Demonstration Nursery/Primary School, Onyunkoko, in Okene Local Government Area of the State.
The Commissioner for Information and Communications, Kingsley Fanwo, spoke to newsmen on Thursday, describing the project as a testament to the State’s Governor, Ahmed Ododo’s commitment to providing modern and inspiring learning environments for pupils.
He also said that providing free education in abandoned structures would be a disservice to future leaders.
Fanwo further said that the remodelling of the School is part of a statewide effort to reposition the education sector and the government has also introduced free education for pupils and bursary support for tertiary institutions.
