Kaduna state Governor Uba Sani has promised that his administration will collaborate with other security agencies to ensure the safe return of the over 100 worshippers who were abducted in Kurmin Wali village on Sunday.
The Governor made this pledge on Wednesday when he visited the village to commiserate with the people saying that regardless of the number of persons abducted, it is still the responsibility of the Kaduna State government to protect the lives and property of the people.
Meanwhile, reports say the Inspector General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, has ordered the deployment of police helicopters for air surveillance and has also deployed additional operational and intelligence assets to the area.
