Jamaica have secured a 1-0 win over New Caledonia in their 2026 FIFA intercontinental playoff semi-finals.
The match took place this Friday at the Akron stadium in Zapopan, Mexico.
Wrexham and Jamaican player, Bailey Cadamarteri scored the only goal in the 18th minute of the game to give Jamaica the win.
They will now play in the final play-off match against African representatives, D R Congo, scheduled for March 31st at the same venue, and the winner of that final game will qualify for the expanded 48-team 2026 FIFA World Cup.
