Israel has continues its deadly strikes on southern Lebanon and reports say 15 people, including women and children, have been killed in the latest attacks in Sarafand and Haret Saida near Sidon city.
Also, at least 143 Palestinian people were killed in Israeli strikes across Gaza on Tuesday, with 132 of those killed in the northern part of the country.
Lebanese health officials say the latest Israeli attack also wounded more than 20 people, while the residents there say the Israeli military gave no warning before the assault on Tuesday night.
Meanwhile, Qatar’s representative to the UN, Sheikha Alya Ahmed bin Saif Al Thani, has accused Israel of “clear violations of the Geneva Conventions”
She made the accusations on Tuesday as she addressed the Security Council in a meeting focused on the ongoing crisis in the Middle East.
