A hospital in southern Israel, Soroka Hospital and two towns near Tel Aviv have been struck by a barrage of Iranian missiles.
Rescuers on ground say at least 47 people have been injured in the strikes that occurred this Thursday.
Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has commented on the strike saying Iran will “pay a heavy price” while Israels’ Defense Minister Israel Katz says the Israeli army has been ordered to “intensify” strikes on Iran.
A spokesperson for the hospital says the hospital suffered extensive damage in various areas which is still being assessed but has asked patients not to visit the hospital for the meantime.
Recall that the conflict started when Israel launched a devastating attack last Friday targeting Iran’s military and nuclear sites and killing top commanders and scientists, while Iran also retaliated with barrages of missiles on Israel.
