Two persons have died and several others have been injured after an improvised explosive device (IED) detonated at Orlu International Market in Imo State on Tuesday
Imo Police spokesman, Henry Okoye, confirmed the incident and assured that the Commissioner of Police, Aboki Danjuma, has deployed Anti-Bomb operatives to the scene.
Okoye says the two persons killed were hoodlums who were in the process of setting up the IED before it exploded.
