At least 94 people have died and 76 injured after a huge fire engulfed a high-rise public housing complex in Hong Kong.

Reports say the fire started on Thursday and about 700 firefighters were deployed to put out the fire.

Although investigations into the cause of the disaster are still ongoing, experts say flammable materials like the Scaffolding and mesh netting set up around the apartment blocks for renovation works were against safety precautions.
